Join nowCan I assign projects to Properties and then run reports for each of those projects?
I have 3 wedding venues with a total of approx 250 events that I need to track each event as a project for job costing. Is this possible? I know I have a limit on the number of projects but was trying to work around to make job costing easier. Is there something called classes that I could use?
I’m here to share some information about Projects and Class Tracking, eward-eislerland.
We use projects in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to track your project’s profitability. Projects help track income, expenses, and profitability and organize all job-related information in the account in one place. You can create projects for multiple customers and add certain transactions such as estimates, invoices, expenses, bills, purchase orders, or time.
On the other hand, class and location tracking monitors income, expenses, and reports for different segments or locations of the business. I still recommend checking with your accountant which is the best option to consider. If in case your accountant would advise you to track your properties as divisions, we can utilize our Class or Location Tracking feature. Here's how you can turn them on:

I'm just a reply away should you have any other questions about this. I'm always up to provide further assistance. Thanks for coming and have a good one!
You've asked the same question before. You must upgrade to QBO Advanced or use a project management app.
