It's good to see you here in the Community, consolidated1n.

I'd love to help you with your concern about deleting a payment method. But will you please provide additional information about it? Any further details would help us provide the best resolution on this matter.

Please know you can continue to reach me here with your additional questions. I'll be standing by for your response.

I have two payment methods on my account. I would like to delete one and keep the other.

In the section where both payments are listed, there is a pen to edit, but nothing to delete.

I've got you covered, @consolidated1n.

You can make a payment method inactive instead of deleting them. I'll be happy to guide you through the steps.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Click the Gear icon, then select All lists.
  3. In the Lists window, click Payment Methods.
  4. On the page, select the payment method you want to inactivate.
  5. Then, click the drop-down beside Run report and choose Make inactive.
  6. Click Yes to confirm.

I'm adding this article for more guidance: Add or modify the accepted credit card types in QuickBooks.
