HI, i am trying to do an report to show which of my estimates converted into sales orders and which didn't.
How can i get a report like that?
Thanks
I can share some information that can help you with generating the report that you need, @charlesmyf.
You can run a Transaction List by Customer report in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). Then, customize the report to show only sales orders and estimates. If the sales order was converted into an estimate, you'll see the Estimate Number from the Memo column.
Follow the steps below:
Refer to the following article for more information about running reports that can keep track of your sales and expenses using predefined customer, job, and sales reports: Customize customer, job, and sales reports in QuickBooks Desktop.
Here's also a guide that can help you with customizing reports in QuickBooks Desktop. It'll help you with adding or removing columns, information, and any other information.

Hi Mjoy,
Thanks so much. That was great!
Hello charlesmyf,
I am so happy you were able to get through! Please let me know if you have any other questions! My team and I will be delighted to help. Bye for now.
Hi, how would I be able on an estimate to see how much money I would make on the job without using the non-inventory items. Meaning, is there somewhere on the estimate when I can put the cost in and I would know what I will make?
Hi, how can I see during the estimate stage how much money I would make per job? I don't want to use the non-inventory option because then I need to make a new record for every item.
Is there a possibility for that?
Hey there, @charlesmyf.
Thanks for stopping back by our Community!
To clarify, can you provide a little more information on what you mean by seeing how much you would make?
In addition, estimates are non-posting, so it doesn't effect the inventory until it's put on an invoice.
This will help us determine the next steps you need to take. I'll be just around the corner!
