Hello Jamie,

If you want to create a recurring template for journal entries, here's how to do it:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Recurring Transactions under Lists.
  2. Click the New button and select Journal Entry in the Transaction Type field.
  3. Click OK and enter the Template name.
  4. Select a template type and enter the additional details.
  5. Enter the journal entry details and click Save template.

You can also refer to this article for more information: Create Templates for Recurring Transactions.

If you mean something else, any additional details would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

How to create a customised template with signatories for approval.

Thanks

Hi there, abraham1.

Adding a field for signatories’ approval on a Journal Entry is unavailable. You can instead use the Memo field or the Attachments field to enter this information.

You can also create your customized Journal Entry template and import it into QuickBooks using a third party application. These type of applications are available in the QuickBooks apps center.
