Question

I cannot enter a UK postcode as it only give me the option to select a state in USA. How can i tell it i am in the UK

Just to clarify, are you trying to set up a UK QuickBooks Online account? If so, it sounds like you may have signed up for the US version. These versions are optimized and configured for their respective regions, so options such as postal codes can vary. Additionally, you can signup for the UK version at the following link: QuickBooks UK.

    I was thinking the same so i cancel this one and sign up with the Uk version on the link you provided. I was on a 30 day trial so no loss and only been seeing what it can do etc.

    You may also be interested in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) sample company demo. This is designed to help business owners see what QBO can do and for users to test out features. None of the information that's entered is saved, so you can experiment with out changes being retained.
