Profit and Loss Report- Exact Dates

When I run a year to date P & L report, the report says "January - October, 2021" but I need it to list exact dates (e.g., Jan 1, 2021- October 31, 2021). For some reason, even when I customize the date, the exact dates do not show up on the report.... I have tried so many things and cannot figure this out. Any help is appreciated!

Let me share some insights about pulling up the Profit and Loss report in QuickBooks Online.

You can run the Profit & Loss Detail report to see the list of your income and expenses per account by month. Just look

for the said report in the search box.
