I am unable to active Quickbooks Desktop 2020 on my new laptop, it loaded fine & now won't activate.

I have followed the steps in this thread, but I still have the same error.

It is trying to connect to 

I receive error message: This site can’t be reached

I have tried many times, please assist ASAP

The reason you're unable to activate the QBDT 2020 on your new laptop is that the version was already discontinued. With the discontinuation policy, you won't be able to access security updates, technical support, and other add-on services.

 

The activation process fails and triggers an error message because the software cannot connect to the server. For continued support, I suggest upgrading to a newer version of QuickBooks Desktop or switching to QuickBooks Online
