changing hard drive

I really appreciate you trying the QuickBooks Tool Hub to regain access to your software. If QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2016 keeps showing a spinning wheel after you replaced your hard drive, check whether the issue is with your file or the program. Here’s how:

1. Open QuickBooks Desktop
2. In No Company Open, select your company file.
3. Press and hold ALT on your keyboard, then select Open. Don't let go of ALT until the file opens.
4. If you're asked to sign in, release ALT, enter your password, then press and hold ALT and select OK.

If you still see the error, suppress the QuickBooks application.

1. Press and hold the Ctrl key, then double-click the QuickBooks Desktop icon.
   Important: Don't release the Ctrl key until you see the No Company Open window, QuickBooks freezes, or gives you an error.
2. Select a company file, then choose Open.

If the issue persists, try reinstalling QuickBooks Desktop. This can fix deep system errors that a standard repair tool might miss.
