Hello, @salliethorn-gmai.

I can provide some details about changing estimates to quotes in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Yes, you can! You have the option to modify the form (estimate) name to quote in QBO. You can also change the template to that term if you prefer.

The steps to do this are pretty easy. Here's how:

  1. In QBO, go to the Gear icon at the top right.
  2. Under Your Company, select Custom Form Styles.
  3. If you have a template for the estimates, click the Edit link below the Action column.
  4. If you don't, click the New Style button and select Estimates.
  5. Click the Content tab.
  6. Select the header of the template.
  7. In the Form section, change the Form name to Quote.
  8. Click Done.
  9. To set this template as the default, click the drop-down arrow below the Action column and select Make default.

You can refer to this article that tackles customizing estimates and other sales form in QBO for further guidance: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

You also have the ability to import your own template to QBO. You just need to turn on the Import Style feature from the Account and Settings.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Labs under Your Company.
  3. Turn on Import Style.

Once done, you can upload them. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the upper right.
  2. Select Custom Form Styles.
  3. Click New style, then select Import style.
  4. Choose Estimate.
  5. Click on the Next button, then Browse.
  6. Map the fields for the template until finished.
