I am trying to import transactions from Stripe for the first time. It is saying, We can't upload everything from your file. Some info may be missing from your file. Double check that your file is complete and try uploading again. Start over." Can someone help me trouble-shoot what may be the problem? Thank you

I'm here to help ensure you're able to import Stripe transactions to QuickBooks, Birdwell Bookkeeping.

There's a possibility that the template of your data isn't accepted in QuckBooks.

You need a CSV file format when importing transactions. Please refer to this link to learn how to use this template: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Once done formatting the file, you can import transactions to QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select the Link account ▼ drop-down and then Upload from file.
  3. Select Drag and drop or select files and then select the file you downloaded from your bank, select Continue.
  4. In the QuickBooks account ▼ drop-down, select the account you want to upload the transactions into, then select Continue.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks, then Continue.
  6. Select the transactions you would like to import, Continue.
  7. Click Yes.
  8. When you accept your transactions, select Done.

I'm adding these links to help ensure you're able to bring in Stripe transactions successfully to QuickBooks.

Stay in touch with me if you have other importing transactions issues. Just leave a comment below, and I'll get back to you.
