It's great to see you back in the Community. Let me share some insight into features that are discontinued within QuickBooks Desktop 2022.
I can see how beneficial this feature is to you and your business, and also to other users. However, yes, the Loan Manager feature was removed from the QuickBooks Desktop 2022 version.
Particular transaction will no longer be automated like in the Loan Manager. Although this has occurred, you can still track loans in your QuickBooks. You'll need to manually enter them into the system. Here's a guide that can help you out: Manually track loans in QuickBooks Desktop.
You have got to be kidding me!!!! I have used QB since 1998, and ALWAYS used loan manager. I was forced to upgrade to 2023 at the beginning of June since my version was no longer supported. Image my surprise when I went to loan manager - and it is gone!!!!!!!!! The manual "workaround" is complex, arduous and wasting my time. I cannot believe that you would remove such a valuable aspect of QB. I am now going to waste countless hours setting this all up for multiple loans, and where is all my data!!! This is work that does not make me any money!! To say I am pissed is an understatement. QB has erred to the max!! Fix this and don't be so stupid! GRRRR!!!
I'm here to enlighten you about the QuickBooks Desktop subscription.
QuickBooks Desktop has a service discontinuation policy. Wherein, all QuickBooks Desktop 2021 and older are no longer offered. It is designed this way to ensure that your software remains secure, reliable, and supported.
However, the Loan Manager feature is still accessible in the updated QuickBooks Desktop version. You may want to purchase QuickBooks Desktop 2023 or 2024 versions instead. You may explore this page to review the best plan for your company: QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Pricing.
if you already have an existing QuickBooks Desktop plan, you may upgrade it to the latest one.
Furthermore, I've added here a few articles that will guide you through installing QuickBooks Desktop:
I am furious you removed loan manager. I was using 2021 and was just forced to upgrade and an exponentially higher cost and you disconiued this feature? Who was the braniac at Intuit that authorized that? This company is getting worse and worse and costing more and more every year. What a joke!!
