Auto capitalization in "Note to Customer" section

Thanks for connecting with the QuickBooks Community, High Level1. Auto-capitalization in the "Notes to Customer" field should be working with your device's keyboard settings, so the fact that it's not is frustrating and worth flagging. This looks like it may be an unintended side effect of the new invoice layout rollout rather than a deliberate change. We want to make sure the right team hears about it directly from you.

The best thing you can do right now is submit this through the built-in feedback channel: Gear icon ⚙ > Feedback. That goes straight to the product team and helps build the case for a fix, especially when multiple users report the same thing.

In the meantime, you can do these workaround. 

Set a Default Note Template: If your notes follow a standard format or closing greeting, configure it permanently via the QuickBooks Settings:

1. Select the Gear icon in the top right.
2. Choose Custom form styles and select Edit on your active invoice template.
3. Under the Content tab, go to the footer/message section to pre-type a properly capitalized default message.

Another route, on desktop or web, tools like TextExpander, Alfred, or built-in OS text replacement shortcuts automatically expand abbreviations into pre-formatted, capitalized paragraphs without needing a separate notepad app.
