Cis not been taking off invoices

Please note that Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) tax deduction invoices must be created through a web browser. The QuickBooks mobile app has limited functionality for these transactions, you will need to use the desktop website instead.

Here’s how:

1. Go to All apps and hover over Sales & Get Paid.
2. Click Invoices and select Create invoices.
3. Choose your CIS contractor from the Add Customer dropdown menu, or click + Add Customer to set up a new one.
4. Pick your CIS Labour item from the Product/service dropdown and enter its gross value. Add any additional products, services, or materials on the subsequent rows as needed.
5. Apply the correct VAT rate and complete any remaining fields.
6. QuickBooks will automatically compute the CIS deduction withheld from your payment.
7. Click Save and close.
