Contractors

Hello, We are trying to get our contractors into QuickBooks. The email times out, or the contractor gets through to setting up an account and then receives "there is an issue on our end"  This has been happening to 2/3 of our contractors. Any help is appreciated.

I understand the urgency to get your contractors set up in QuickBooks. At the moment, there's an ongoing investigation for contractors unable to complete sign-up and get in the W-9 from Contractor Invite. 

 

At this point, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team to let them know that you also received the same error.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. After you Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company, go to the Help (?) menu.
  2. Select Assistant to get quick, personalized answers, and then enter your concern.
  3. Click still want to Talk to a human, then select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

 

You can provide this case investigation number for easy tracking: INV-80342. You'll receive an update about its progress via email once you're added to the list.
