Payroll history before using quickbooks was entered wrong

You can correct incorrect year-to-date (YTD) payroll history in QuickBooks Workforce by re-accessing the prior payroll setup or by contacting our Live Support Expert team if live paychecks have already been processed.

Re-accessing Payroll History (If No Live Paychecks Have Been Run Yet)

1. Navigate to Payroll and select Overview.
2. Locate Add your payroll history and select Start or Edit.
3. Choose the employee whose numbers need correction.
4. Enter the corrected YTD totals using your prior payroll reports.
5. Select Continue and repeat these steps for each employee.

Contacting Support (If Paychecks Are Already Posted)

• If you have already processed live paychecks inside QuickBooks, the standard history setup option will be locked.
