Hello, we are using Quick Books Accountant Online-

We have employees that have company credit cards and we want them to be able to use the "Snap Receipt" feature, however, we do not want them to have access to the Company's books.

How do we set them up as a user to be able to leverage this functionality with out having access to Company information?

Let's get this sorted out, @js91. I'll help you limit your users from seeing firm's info.

For your employees to use snap receipt feature, you need to add them as a user to your account. This way, you can manage user access in QuickBooks and give them the only access they need for their role.

Here's how:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online Accountant as an admin, or a user with full access permissions.
2. Go to the Team menu and find the team member.
3. Tap Edit in the Action column.
4. Select the Firm Administration and Books tab.
5. In the Access dropdown, select an access level. You can also choose specific permissions from the dropdowns in the Access column.
6. Select Save.

Please refer to this link to learn more about team or user access in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

Looking forward to your reply about snapping receipts or adding users. I'd be more than willing to lend you a hand.

Hi- this doesn't seem to be working.  We do not want to give the employees access to the accounts receivable and accounts payable which seems to prevent them from being able to use the snap feature on the phone app.  Is there a work around for this?
