How to turn on late fees in QBO - Mac. I do not have the option under accounts and settings
No text available
I filed the return in QBO and balance owing was $427.15 I printed the report and then I immediately undid the filing as it didn't look correct. I confirmed the sales amount was correct and went back to file the return and the ITC amount was completely different. In addition there was a Journal entry for the original amount of the filing which I couldn't change or undo. I am happy with the $427.15 amount to file but I have no backup to show the original ITC amount and I can't figure out how to get the original report. I have corrected the filing using the sales tax adjustment but need the original which I believe has exceptions.
We have an employee who was recently issued an ROE due to having a heart attack on 7/23/23. He returned to work Sept. 12th. How do I re-instate him?
Our old payroll system automatically calculated stat pay. With QBO, I'm running reports and doing calculations/formulas to come up with 5% of hours worked, and having to enter that all in manually. Its very frustrating and takes a while to do this (also the report I use - Payroll by Employee Summary, doesn't calculate actual time worked so I have to run it for after payroll was run that stat week). Is there a feature I am missing? Does everyone else do this manually like I am?
I started adding "Department" to my employee profiles but then decided to use "Classes" instead. Now I want to go in and edit my "Department" list but I can't find where it is stored in QB.
My tax rates are setup and when I publish from the bank feed it won't publish because it says the tax is missing so I have to enter it each time instead of just publish
Some of my employees receive recognition payment. For some reason this payment is not being included in gross pay. In the deductions and contributions report it is under the "type" 'private health care' instead of 'Other before tax deductions'.
2023 total tax deductions on income is calculated incorrectly when maximum CPP is reached.
Payroll is not deducting for employees that I think it should be
Payroll is no longer deducting cpp. Employee meets the age criteria and no tax exemptions. Why is cpp not coming off payroll anymore?
Dear all, I want to set up payroll in QBO and I am not sure about these setting on QBO; 1. Serveance (Taxable)2. Pay in Lieu of notice (Taxable ,Pensionable, Insurable ,vacationable) Can some one help me with this? Thanks,Zahra
I am getting notifications for each payroll direct deposit on QBO Payroll. I don't wish to receive the same.
I can't run or setup payroll because it wants me to pay for it, when I try to directs me to go to my google play subscription but there's no option for payroll on google play.
I pay the majority of our sub-contractors via E-Transfer. I do my transfer through my banking app but I need to record that I have made a direct payment to my Vendor
I'm from Quebec and the federal and provincial taxes and the RRQ are not properly deducted from the payroll. It was alright before the 1st of July but since, I have to manually change them.It take out like $ 110 to much on the RRQ.Thank you,
Ok I will try to get an answer from someone who knows Quickbooks. I am entering in YTD for payroll. Jan to July. I have entered the YTD as do not affect accounts. The opening balance shows no amount to carry forward in the payroll liabilities, on the Bal Sheet. but does show up in the pay liabilities window, I was able to pay the deduction for July in this window in August. How can I get this amount to show on the BAL sheet without affecting retained earnings?
I am currently entering in YTD employee information for the calendar year 2023. Our fiscal year is Aug to July. I would like to enter in the fiscal year payroll, but do not wish to affect the retained earnings. As well how do I enter in source deduction payments as the Payroll Liability has not reduced as at the year end.
