Bas statement has not been lodged it has been marked as lodged can i unmark it
When reviewing the accuracy of the transactions entered, I review the transaction listing for each account in both P&L and Bal Sheet. As I work with a lot of overseas vendors, I need to see whether the GST is correct in each account. i can select the GST Code, but not the Tax Amount as it's no longer available.
As usual, a typical demonstration of complete technical incompetence by the entire quickbooks organisation. Not only does their software bug out for BASIC tasks, can't even connect to support because they can't even maintain an active chat support line. What an absolute joke
When creating a PO for regular items in the past with quickbooks I could select from my items list as I do for invoices, how do I add that option to the form on qbo?
The custom invoice shows two GST components, one is relating to the GST for custom duty and Other GST amount for other charges but When enter bill in quicksbooks intuit, it only shows the GST on other charges but it doesn't show GST for the custom duty. HOW can we clear this issue?
When allocating Payroll payments in transactions what GST rate code do you use?
We use "GST" function to record BAS lodged, including the PAYG installments amount, which is linked to a balance sheet liability account "PAYG Instalments" After we lodged income tax, we received some refund from ATO, but system doesn't allow me to post journal, or reconcile to the ledger account, system returns an error message " You have selected a tax liability account on a transaction where it's not allowed" I even tried to use "Journal Entries" and "transfer" but none of them were able to touch that ledger account returned by same error massage. Any idea how to move the amount out from that account?
Today I import invoices like everyday but now I stuck at step map your tax codes. The file structure is the same and QB be able to map the column correctly. But I cannot hit the button next.
A Validation failed message appears when I try to prepare my first BAS. What should I do?
I have setup LeadConnector before setting up GST, so it might have configured a GST Rate on the back end. When I go to GST > Settings, there is no Rates menu item, so I cannot remove it. What should I do?
Thankyou
How do I change the GST amount on taxi receipts? For example - the charges are: Sale $88.29Service Fee $4.82GST $0.48Total $93.59 The system calculates the GST on the total rather than just on the service fee. How do I adjust the GST - do I need to do two transactions?
Why does QB have payg payable and a payg witholding payable in the chart of accounts? In the pay run payg is allocated to payg payable account but the bas journal is allocated against payg withholding payable so you end up with a debit in 1 account and a credit in the other. They dont match up without another journal
In our QBO, we are already lodging quarterly PAYG via quarterly BASWe predict our PAYG liability will be increasing, and ATO will expect us to also lodge monthly IAS.How do setup and add/enable Monthly IAS (in addition to the quarterly BAS) ?Thank you in advance
I've tested the reclassify transactions tool over a number of companies, browsers and computers. GST codes cannot be changed and all get the same message - "Sorry. We weren't able to make those changes." A good tool has gone bad.
This is the GST 'manage rates' options available (In Australia): Manage VAT rates Switch on VAT rates you frequently use. Switch off those that you don’t need. Activate / deactivate rates GST GST free GST free exports GST on purchases (Purchases) - Inactive Input tax Out of Scope
