You can include the product code on purchase order by enabling the Show Item/Service Code column in the Account and settings, Alan.

4. Select Save, then hit Done.
   

Once you've done this, QuickBooks will automatically add the Item/Service Code column to the purchase order.

To edit the product code of an item, follow these steps:

2. Hit Edit for the item you want to modify.
3. Update the Item/Service code as needed.
