Estimate Report

Why is there no reporting for open estimates?

I have requested this feature multiple time over the past 12 years, and so has many other users.

Open estimates are lost revenue sources and lost business potential. This may not be a thought to the accountants and bookeepers who advise Intuit - but is a major thought to those of use who operate our business with Quickbooks.

Thank you for submitting a feature request that could improve the program's functionality, bruce100.

To view the open estimates that haven't been turned into a sales order or invoice, you can generate the Estimate by Job report. To accomplish this, please follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Reports menu.

2. Choose Jobs, Time & Mileage, then select Estimates by Job.

3. Click on Customize Report.

4. Press the Filter button, then select Estimate as Transaction Type and Paid Status as Open.

5. After completing this, click OK.

To review estimates for specific customer, click the amount to see all open estimates.
