What connector do you mean?

Did you encounter a specific error message when attempting to run both programs? This information will help me check and provide other troubleshooting steps to get this resolved.

In the meantime, ensure both applications are running as an administrator, and leave the Don't allow any applications to access this company file box unchecked to allow integration access to your QuickBooks company file.

Here's how:

1. Open QuickBooks and log in as the Admin user.  
2. From the top menu bar, go to Edit and select Preferences.
3. In the left-hand menu, select Integrated Applications, then click on the Company Preferences tab.
4. Ensure that the box Don't allow any applications access to this company file is unchecked.
5. Click OK
