Quickbooks Enterprise Question

Hello,

Does anyone know if we cancel our QB Enterprise subscription if we lose our history?

We need to change our software to better suit the business but require access to history.

Hello there, bearwheel1. No, you won’t lose your history. Instead, you’ll have view-only access for one year after your subscription ends to view and export your reports.

View-only mode lets you look at and interact with your info, but you won’t be able to make any changes. Because of that, it’s a smart move to export your data before you cancel.

Keep these restrictions in mind while working in View-only mode:

  • You won’t be able to access 3rd party apps.
  • You can’t edit data once your license is inactive.
  • Only company file admins can use this mode.
  • It’s only available for Pro Plus, Premier Plus, and Enterprise (QuickBooks Mac Plus and Point of Sale are excluded).
  • It may not work in multi-user mode; switch to single-user mode before canceling.
  • It isn’t supported on Intuit Cloud Access/Hosting with Rightworks.
  • This only applies to the installation already on your computer, it won’t work if you reinstall.

If you have more questions or need clarification, just let us know below. We’re here to help.

I was told we would have access for only one month so very conflicting information.  We require at least 3 years to access our history.

This is unsatisfactory since we have been a loyal Quickbooks customer for 20 years and are paying $500 a month!

If you need to permanently access your data using the trial version, you simply need to change the installation folder. You should contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA directly via email for details.

@Heather CH

You can use the trial version to access your historical data for good.
