I understand why this felt alarming. QuickBooks Online (QBO) is designed to send invoices using our default notification server, quickbooks@notification.intuit.com, instead of your registered email to ensure secure delivery. This is working as designed and not a hijack.

If you’ve connected your Gmail address when sending invoices but it keeps reverting to the QuickBooks default email, you can fix it by removing your Gmail address and then re-adding it while making sure to select the Send email on your behalf option.
