Imho, the term "phasing out" is not quite accurate for this case. They are merely winding down, but they have not yet announced to discontinue it. I suspect they are still monitoring the situation. As long as the revenue from renewals remains significant, they certainly won't turn away a profitable source of income.

The downside is that they will simply increase renewal costs to pressure you into switching to Online or IES. Even though your license isn't due to expire until next year, there is a way to reduce the amount you paid last September by opting for a workaround and get a discount.
