There are no specific QuickBooks Desktop 2019 release notes guaranteed for Apple Silicon operating systems. However, you can manually download and install the latest available update for the Intel-based app directly from Intuit's Downloads & Updates page before it is discontinued.

Here's how:

Go to the Downloads & Updates page.
Select the standard setup.
Select your Country, Product, and Version (Year).
Select Search.
Select Get the latest updates.
Open the downloaded file to install the update.
Restart your computer to apply the updates.

I have the same question. My Mac indicates that future OS’s will not support the Intel-based app. I have no interest in going the subscription route. Will there be an update to QB 2019 for Mac that will work universally or specifically with Apple Silicon? Or am I out of luck once the new OS’s are released?

There is no update that makes QuickBooks 2019 for Mac compatible with Apple Silicon, meaning the software will permanently stop working on your Mac once Apple removes Intel-app translation.

We recommend upgrading to a supported version or transitioning to current subscription models soon to protect your financial data from sudden downtime.

@ktkauf Did you purchase a new Mac? You should still be able to run QBD 2019 on Tahoe with minimal random issues.
