QBO Super Super Slow

I have had nothing but trouble lately with QBO running super super super slow.  Is this related to having AI forced onto QBO customers?  QBO suggests using Google Chrome and some days it won’t even load in Chrome, but it might or might not load in Firefox.  How can we get our old data base back to work fluently?

You can improve your QuickBooks Online performance by checking your system requirements and keeping your operating system up to date. Since QuickBooks Online is entirely web-based, its performance depends on how your browser handles data. That said, the recent slowdowns aren't related to AI features.

System slowdowns usually come from browser data congestion, limited memory (RAM), or network issues. You can run a Google Speed Test to check your bandwidth and connection speed, then compare it against the system requirements.

If QuickBooks Online (QBO) has suddenly become extremely slow, I wouldn’t assume that AI features are the cause without confirmation from Intuit. QBO performance can be affected by browser efficiency, available RAM, internet bandwidth, outdated cache, cookies, or browser extensions. Intuit recommends using an up-to-date Chrome browser and notes that clearing the browser cache and Intuit-specific cookies can resolve loading and performance problems. I’d try clearing Intuit cookies, disabling extensions temporarily, restarting the browser, and testing QBO in another supported browser such as Firefox or Edge. If the problem happens across multiple browsers and devices, contact Intuit Support and ask them to check whether there is an account or service-side issue rather than trying to restore an old database. And if you’re seeing tiktok videos or other TikTok content loading slowly at the same time, that could point more toward a browser or network-performance problem than QBO itself.
