QuickBooks Q&A (US)

When I check the instructions for how to add it in, it says to go to Quickbooks Account & Settings, but I don't have this anywhere when I log into Quickbooks, only a link to my Intuit account settings which has my business info but then a prompt saying that I need to go to Quickbooks Account & Settings to edit my full business profile.

​I have over 200 transactions from the weekend that are completely missing. QBO says "Error 102" or "Script error" depending on which button I click. I tried re-entering my bank credentials three times and it just keeps spinning endlessly or giving me a generic error message!

For several hours where I have tried transfer at leat 6 times I get the message: "Hmm, that didn't work Check your bank info or balance and try transferring again." Cant get hold of help at QBO - this is ridiculous that I can access my own money

I have spent an unreasonable amount of time trying to resolve repeated payment holds, including approximately 30 phone calls, multiple identity verification attempts, written bank letters, and conversations with supervisors.I was previously assured that the issue had been resolved and that future customer payments would not continue to be held. My previously withheld payments were eventually released(a month and a half later) , but now every new invoice payment is being withheld again. 

I invoiced my Customer and the customer paid more than the face value of the invoice. How do I fix this? Cause I can’t seem to balance and credit the account.

Looking for list of my previous Quickbooks programs that I can still download, like Quickbooks Premier 2024  

I've also tried finding the hidden "+ logo" in preview setting under invoices and nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i got an email that said i need to pay taxes manually.   The email said You need to pay some taxes manually  We can’t pay some of your taxes automatically because you haven’t finished your tax setup for one or more jurisdictions. Visit the Payroll Tax Center to pay these taxes manually. Be sure to pay them on time to avoid penalties.To address your tax setup, go to your payroll Overview and find Automated taxes. Learn about tax setupI have been using intuit payroll online since 2009 and have never see this.  I think Quick Books has a huge problem because I also see.   The amount i supposedly owe is zero???Please explain.LDO  

Why is it so difficult to reach a live knowledgable person in the Resolution Center? This is my 5th call to them tyoday and every time a rep has a different story as to why a deposit of $30k is on hold for NO GOOD REASON

Invoice 1004 is showing unpaid. Payment was received

On 10/23/26 I could no longer sync bank transactions. I got a message say QB was working on it. Since then, nothing. No apology, no messages. Nothing. Since that time, now our credit cars won’t sync. All started failing on different days. 6 different accounts. None work now.

how do I get past the verification being sent to old number

I have found what appears to be a glitch in the platform when logging in.   If you have a subscription to Quickbooks online, and inadvertently log into ProConnect using your existing company email or login ID, the app will automatically convert your account to an Accountant profile.   It will completely detach your company database from your user ID, and you will spend hours and hours online with support trying to figure out how to recover.   Most of the online experts will not be able to help you.    I discovered this bug after spending nearly 10 hours online with support personnel, and we only by chance figured out a workaround.  It got me back in, but the association to my primary adminstrator ID seems to be permanently lost because of the glitch.

I use QuickBooks 2015 Accountant Desktop to manage five company files. The administrator left without providing the admin password, so I have continued maintaining the accounting records using a former employee’s username and password. These credentials have worked for the five years I have been with the company. Suddenly, the last company file rejects the password with a “Password not matching” message, while the other four remain accessible. Can you help me regain access and explain what might have caused this? Could the affected company file have been hacked?

I subscribed at iphone app. I want to see the same info lap top but my browser version has totall totally different view. and I can see only tax related tiny info.

Live Chat is crap.  There is no live chat.  It's just an auto program that keeps sending you to worthless information. I've been trying to add a new employee for a week now and still can't get it to work.  I've had nothing but problems since change from TSheets to Time.  I think they changed the name to Time because it's time for me to look else where.  I don't have time to sit here on the phone waiting or typing this message.

AI assisted Stripe payout could not be edited to match deposit feed--getting error: The request exceeds maximum operations allowed. Does not matter how large or small the payout is. Issue got referred to “experts” who could not provide a time estimate for resolving this. Modified AI to minimize editing and enable Payout match to Feed and keep accounting records current. QuickBooks considered that change by us to resolve the case #15167587974 opened with them. But none of these deposits (it is ongoing since 10/16) can be edited in the event of an error or something not anticipated by AI. I have been unsuccessful at getting QB’s attention to revisit the issue.
