Hi there, youngeddie.
I can provide additional information about where you can find the Edit option as mentioned by my colleague above.
You can find the Edit option from the drop-down arrow under the Action column. I attached a screenshot below for additional reference.
If you're unable to see the Edit option, I suggest logging in your QuickBooks in a private browser to see if we get the same result. And, this method prevents cookies from being stored on your computer, making it a great place to identify browser problems.
Here's how to use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using:
- For Internet Explorer of Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
- For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
- For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.
If it works in incognito, you can check this article: Clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files. This provides steps on how to clear the cache in your regular browser so that your QBSE account performs well. If the steps above didn't work, use another supported browser as alternatives.
From your other concern, as mentioned above, we are unable to delete a customer in QuickBooks Self-Employed. This is because the customer and their info are manually entered in the invoice every time you create one. Thus there is no customer/client list. The only option is to change the client's details from within the invoice.
QuickBooks Self-Employed and Intuit industry-recognized security and guards your account to keep your financial data private and protected. That's why it won't be copied directly. This includes password-protected sign-ins, firewall-protected servers, and the same encryption technology used by the world's top banks. For additional information on how your QBSE account secured by intuit, you can refer to this article: Privacy and security in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Once you encounter any suspicious activity or receive a phishing email, I recommend reporting this directly to our Intuit Security team. Here are the steps you can follow:
- Go to this link: https://security.intuit.com/.
- Click Contact Us.
- Look for Report a fake email (or phishing email) and click on it.
Please check this article to see different information about data and security: Manage your Intuit account, login, password, and data.
Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.
