I can't customize my statement template after microsoft update

After the most recent microsoft updates 6/15/2022 I can't customize my statement template on any of my windows 10 computers. I have used the QB tool hub, uninstalled and reinstalled QB 2020. Ran all the QB and Microsoft updates. Then tried to uninstalled microsofts updates nothing works. I checked background intelegence is running.  Reinstalled all the microsoft updates again. So far no luck.   Any Ideas?

Additional information I can preview the statement for the client and it has all the correct information.  When I click to customize the template to adjust the current date (Of my custom template) the page doesn't open generally. When a page does open it's  blank and the heading says "undefined"

Let me make it up to you by ensuring you're able to customize a template in QuickBooks Desktop. 

 

We can download QuickBooks Tool Hub. This built-in utility can fix common errors you encounter when using QBDT.

 

Follow these steps to proceed:

 

  1. Make sure to close QuickBooks.
  2. Download the most recent version (1.5.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  3. Save the file where you can easily find it.
  4. Open the downloaded file (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to install it.
  6. Double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool.
  7. On the QuickBooks Tool Hub screen, go to the left panel and choose the Program Problems tab.
  8. Click the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool menu to run it.

 

 

Once done, you're able to create custom templates for forms like invoices, sales receipts, estimates, statements, and purchase orders in QBDT. I found a work around I went to List/Template/my custom template/edit/layout and I was able to get into my template and change the current date.  I have the latest QB tool hub and tried all the things you mentioned and it did not fix the issue.  It seems like the customize button in the creat statement window is not linked to the file.  When it does go to a new page after I click customize the page is blank and says "undefined" in the page heading.

    Just to clarify when I click customize in the creat statemtent window it goes to a page that says both creat new template/ customize data layout.  Nither of these buttons will take you to the next page either creat new template or edit your template layout.  My work around takes my to my layout template.  I retried your suggestion with the tool hub and it did not help.   This is the same issue on both of my windows computers, in different locations physically.   It has to be linked to the recent microsoft update.
