I am filing a return for a new filer and Profile won't allow me to e-file authorize a rep form. It says that the information doesn't match their records but because this is the first time filing there wouldn't be a record. I did click the appropriate box for new filer. What am I missing?
When a tax return is being filed by the taxpayer for the first time you now have to enter their middle name right after you click the box that says a return is being filed for the first time.
I figured it out, the last name on the T-4 was spelled incorrectly.
