Anybody having problems getting T4's to send since the CRA weekend update on Feb 14? I had been sending them with no issues for the last two weeks, using the Internet File portal. Now today, I am getting an error at the T619 verification page. "We cannot process your request at this time. We regret the inconvenience. Please try again later". It does not specify what the error is. Nothing has changed on our end, and I have tried multiple browsers. I called CRA, and they were less then helpful. They told me to delete things that it turns out I actually need.
Having the same problem but with T5's.
actually, its now T5's that are the issue. Please let me know if you find a solution.
I am getting this too with T4/T5s. Started yesterday and was fine before the weekend update on Feb 13th. I am still getting the same error today.
Profile is aware and did give a solution. It requires changing the XML file. We tried it and it does work.
Here is what Profile said:
eRA Slip XML Error
Issue
CRA Slip XML Error
Modules Impacted
FX
Workaround
Critical CRA XML fix: Please open your XML files and remove all
empty < BUS_NM> and < RCPNT_NM> tags to avoid rejection
errors.
Note: There are no spaces between < and B or < R in ProFile
Resolution
We are actively working to resolve it.
This does require some knowledge of editing a XML file, let me know if you need help.
Rob
Thanks Rob, that did seem to work on the first one I tried. But what a pain!
Hopefully they fix it before the end of February.
Thanks Rob!
How do you edit an XML file?
Yeah, not ideal. I hope they fix it soon too.
Right click the file and select edit. You should see the full XML sequence, then delete the section as per Profile's recommendation. Make sure to save the file before exiting.
The issue is fixed!
