Data Import T1 data into ProFile

Is there a way to import data into a T1 Return? in the same manner as GIFI to T2?

For example, If I collect information from a new client by using a form for them to fill. I have to re-enter what they provided into ProFile, which is redundant. Is there a way I can convert the data for ProFile to be able to import the data in the right fields in a T1 Return?

I've used Profile from about 2000 to 2019 tax years and importing data was not an option. I notice an Import field under the File menu, but it is greyed out and not accessible (not sure if it has a purpose)???

I've switched to TaxCycle for the 2020 tax year, and this software does allow for Data Import. Some formula coding is required, but it works for most forms, including donations, which is what I've used it for.

Unfortunately only the T2 module has Gifi data import at this time. Please use the send feedback app in the ProFile help menu. All enhancement requests submitted to feedback are reviewed by the product development team.

Hi Duncan,

I am not able to post new queations, so I am asking help here.

Just found out that AFR is downloading wrong provincial tuition carry forward anount to profile.

2020 was filed as BC, 2021 being filed as AB resident and the BC tution carry forward being downloaded in ABS11 as tuition carry forward. I believe in previous years when there was a change in province Profile will leave out the provincial carry forward amount and we will need to input the Federal amount. Pls look into this and add a fix in new release.
