Hi info971, thanks for your post
You can open QuickBooks in multiple tabs on the same browser, either by right-clicking on the tab and selecting 'duplicate' or by pressing the keyboard shortcut below:
Having considered all options and the workflow I feel that quickbooks have stopped thinking about their clients and customers.
1: You are dropping the App, for me it's been invaluable and a huge time saving tool.
2: Snap Receipts appear to have disappeared so I guess I will have to scan every receipt from now on, NOT GOOD.
3: Tags are driving me mad and I learn they can not be turned off.
I think it's time to consider other solutions for my two businesses.
Thank you for joining this thread and trying the recommendations provided by my colleague, @eaglesrockltd.
Yes, you can still open multiple windows or tabs when accessing your company file through an incognito window. Make sure to log in to your account using the incognito window and open the other tabs again.
Just copy the link or click the duplicate button when you right-click the tab. Also, you need to press f5 or refresh the other tab every time you've made changes.
I'm also adding this article to further guide you in managing the growth of your business using QuickBooks. It includes topics about account management, banking, and expenses, to name a few. You can click the + More topics button to view other selections.
Keep me posted on how it went or if you have other questions about QBO. I'm always here to help further.
Thank you for the information posted, do you see this has an improvement? Personally I see it has though you are adding more processes and complications where things can go wrong.
My guide has always been "Kiss" " Keep it simple stupid" !
Given the time I will be evaluating alternatives and migrating to an alternative solution which to be honest is a shame because I left Sage, Freshbooks, and others and to date Quickbooks has made life very easy and allowed me to manage my works as well as accounts very easily where has now I feel you have over complicated the processes and created opportunities for errors with the need for multiple tabs.
My biggest disappointment is the loss of snapping receipts via the app on the phone whereas now the scanning of documents is required and another lengthy process.
