Hey there, liliconsolo.

 

I want to make sure you're able to access your QuickBooks Online account. I can help you get logged in.

 

When you're at the login page (www.qbo.intuit.com), scroll down just a bit and click I forgot my user ID or Password, then:

 

1. Enter your phone number, email or user ID.

2. Click Continue.

3. Enter the 6-digit code and choose Continue.

4. Complete the following prompts to retrieve your password or reset it.

Thank you for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community, Reneejustus. For this situation, I recommend that you contact our Support Team. They have the tools to reset the password for your account once you are verified to a certain level. Here's how to contact us:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to Help ) and click Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  4. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert.
    • Get a callback from the next available expert.

Resetting your password is my focus here. This way, you get back where you left off. 

 

Have you tried the workaround steps provided by my colleague MorganB on this thread? If not, I'd recommend doing so to change your password quickly. Ensure you have access to your email or telephone number for the code. If you're using your email and didn't receive the code, refer to this article for troubleshooting steps: Reset or change your login information for QuickBooks.

 

However, if you don't have access to your mobile phone number and email, I'd recommend filling out our email change request form. Once we process it, you can log in with the new password you create and your original user ID. Once you're back in your account, you can change your email address or other info.

I understand how challenging it is to remember your QuickBooks Desktop passcode. I'm here to help you resolve this issue.

 

To reset your QuickBooks Desktop password if you have forgotten it, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop and open your company file.
  2. On the sign-in screen, click I forgot my password.
  3. Select an email address from the drop-down list and click Next. QuickBooks will email you a code to reset your password.
  4. If you don't see your email address, select Don't see your email in the list above? and follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. Enter the code from your email to reset your password.

 

If the method above doesn't work, check for any typos and confirm that the info matches what's in CAMPS. If you have an error or need help with your password, try the Automated Password Reset tool.

 

If you can't access your email, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks support team for further assistance.
