Set up your QuickBooks Workforce account

Learn how to set up your account in QuickBooks Workforce. Then you can view your pay stubs, W-2s, and more.
What you’ll need
- An invitation email from do_not_reply@intuit.com.
- An existing Intuit account (such as TurboTax or a previous QuickBooks Workforce account) or the information to create a new one.
- Your Social Security Number for tax reporting purposes.
Check out this video to set up and use QuickBooks Workforce. Note: The section to add your personal, tax, and bank info isn’t available to everyone. It depends on the payroll service your employer uses.

Accept your invitation
- Locate the email from do_not_reply@intuit.com with your employer's name in the subject line. If you cannot find it, check your spam folder or confirm the email address with your employer.
- Open the email and select Accept Invite.
- Create a new Intuit account with your email and a password. If you have an existing account, sign in using those credentials.
- Enter your personal information to continue onboarding. Depending on your employer, you may need to provide additional documents or information.
Customize notifications
Turn on notifications for pay stubs. You’ll get an email reminder every time your new pay stub is available.
Turn on pay stub notifications
- Go to workforce.intuit.com.
- Select Settings ⚙.
- Select Email Notification.
- Select Send me an email when new pay stubs are available to receive an email reminder for every new pay stub.
Adjust task preferences
- Go to workforce.intuit.com.
- Select the Notification 🔔 icon, then select View tasks, and then Notification settings 🔔.
- Select your preferences and select Save.
Results
Your QuickBooks Workforce account is now active. You can view or print your pay stubs, time off, year-to-date pay, and W-2s at any time.
