Wells Fargo Not Linking

Glad to see you here in the Community, @groundedinno. I've got some information you need so you can connect your Wells Fargo account.

When your bank updates seem stuck, manually updating the transactions is always our alternative. You can manually update your online banking in QuickBooks Online by following these steps:

  1. On the Banking page, click the Update button.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select Update.

Otherwise, you can also import bank transactions using a CSV file.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. From the Banking tab, click the Upload transactions button.
  3. Click Browse, then choose the file you downloaded from your bank.
  4. Select the account you want to upload the transactions into from the QuickBooks account drop-down arrow, then select Next
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions, then click Next.
  6. When you’re ready, click Let's go.

You can also check these articles for more details about:

Once connected, your bank entries will now be added to QBO. You can now categorize and match online bank transactions.

Loop me in if you have other concerns about managing your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online, I'd be glad to assist you. Take care!

Wells Fargo Not Linking

Hey there @groundedinno.

So glad you found us here in the Community! I’m sorry to hear that you’re getting timed out when trying to connect your new Wells Fargo account. Let’s see what we can do to get that up and running.

Have you tried using different browsers, or a private browser by chance? If not, let’s do that next so we can isolate whether or not this is browser-related.

To access a private browser:

  • Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox and Internet Explorer: Press Shift + Ctrl + P
  • Safari: Press Ctrl + Option + P

If you’re able to connect your account using a private browser, then let’s clear your cache in the regular browser that should take care of any issues.

If you’re still getting timed out in a private browser, let me know and we can determine the next steps.

I’ll keep an eye out for your reply!
