Hi there,
I was hoping someone could help me with a web integration with Paylocity.
I submitted a payroll journal entry from Paylocity to Quickbooks and realized it was not the way I wanted things coded. When I try to resubmit the journal entry in Paylocity to push the data to QB, it sends me an error that I have already posted an entry for that pay date. On Paylocitys' user manual for web integrations, it says that there needs to be something done on the QBO side to allow for this to be resubmitted.
Where do I go in QBO to allow Paylocity to post another entry? Is this possible?
Thanks!
MJ
Good day, mjensen23. Allow me to help and guide you to the right support who can assist you further with your payroll journal entries.
I'd like to check this for you and get it taken care of myself. However, all third-party applications (non-intuit) will no longer have access to their software.
I'd suggest checking with Paylocity or the third-party developer's website if deleting the journal entries in QuickBooks will allow you to resubmit the transactions.
I'll be sharing with you this article: Manually enter payroll paychecks in QuickBooks Online. This will provide you with a sample on how to enter a third-party paycheck as well as steps on how to track your payments.
If you still need help with QuickBooks, please let me know by adding a comment below. I'll be around to keep helping. Have a good one!
I have tried deleting the entry and repushing it from Paylocity to QBO. I was wondering if there was any way on the quickbooks side to get the file to import again by clearing a cache or something.
Hello there! @mjensen23. Thanks for getting back to us. I’m here to share some details about your concern.
You can disconnect Paylocity from QuickBooks Online (QBO) and reconnect to complete the integration process. Otherwise, you can contact their Technical Support team for assistance.
Moreover, let me route you to our Developer's page. This way, they'll be able to guide you with this concern.
Let me share the steps to reach out to the developer's forum.
1. Go to the Intuit Developer Support page.
2. Select a product.
3. On the next page, click on Ask a Question.
4. Then Post.
Make sure to log in using an Intuit Account in the developer's forum.
Keep me posted if you still have questions or concerns with your bank transactions. I'll be around for you. Have great day!
