When I try to open a new company in Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2018 the error codes apeears (-6106, 1069), I already made the instructions to repair the program but the same error keeps coming out

Thanks for sharing what you’ve done. Let’s do other steps to get rid of this error.

This falls into our lists of -6000 errors when opening a QuickBooks company file. This could be caused by a corrupted configuration files that QuickBooks use when accessing your network, firewall that blocks network access, etc.

Please be sure to update your QuickBooks Desktop, and run the QuickBooks File Doctor. However, if the same thing happens, you’ll want to perform the steps stated in the Resolve Error -6000 article.

good evening my dear

we lost our company files while upgrade to 2021 quickbooks enterprise.

We didn't take local backup before upgrading so how we restore our company files.

You can open or restore your QuickBooks working company file. I can guide you in doing so.

Let's ensure all users are logged out of your company file.
Open your new version of QuickBooks Desktop.
From the No Company Open window, go to Open or Restore Company.
Select Open a company file, then Next.
Browse your computer for your company file, then click Open.
Sign in to your company file as an admin user.
Before you upgrade, QuickBooks automatically creates a backup of your existing company file. You can select Change this default location to save the backup in a specific folder.
Select Update Now to start the upgrade.
When QuickBooks is finished, select Done.

If you're unable to locate your working company file, you can use the Find a company file feature. From here, you can easily view all the company file stored in your computer or device and restore it.

Moi aussi je suis en train de faire face à un problème similaire. Ma base de données conçue sur la version 2016 de Quickbooks, ne peut pas s'ouvrir sur la version 2019 de Quickbooks.

We'll have to make sure that your company file is updated to the latest release, Gernybf8.

This can be the reason why you're unable to open QuickBooks 2016 on the QuickBooks 2019 version.
