QB-Desktop-Premier-2021

Hello,

 

Any idea on the release date for QB-Desktop-Premier-2021? I ask because Intuit offers product support for 3 years, and usually Intuit releases new version in September of every year. Therefore no point of purchasing 2020-version and losing out a year on product support. I am aware that QB comes with 60 days full refund policy, but again if the 2021-version is not released within 60 days than I am stuck.

Thank you for choosing QuickBooks as your accounting software. As of this moment, we don't have the specific time-frame as to when will be the new release of QuickBooks-Premier 2021. 

 

I recommend getting in touch with customer support team to learn more about any updates or to ask more further questions about it.

I did contact customer support team, and they don't have any updates (release date, pricing) on 2021-version. I was hoping this forum might have some info.

You should purchase the license of QBD 2020 with the free upgrade option to QBD 2021 thru a partner/reseller. We learned the offering is not release yet.

It should be out by the first week in October.  That's historically when the new software gets released.  As a pro-advisor, I can get mine today, so for the "non" pro-advisor community, yours should be coming our very soon.

I am a pro-adviser and I cant find link though I have e-mails said it was available.  All I have in my account is  the  is license under  PAP premier Software Bundle but no link to download the Accountants 2021 desktop version.  How did you get to it?  Support hours are so limited not available when I am working. So I can't get help from them until next week.

You can go to this website https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact and choose your product. This way once of our support will be able to assist you.

It's just been released and Quickbooks has fouind a way to screw those of us using the desktop version...raised the price to $650 for the software only, or $300/yr for the desktop version with supposed access to unltd. customer support. So, basically they are making the desktop version a subscription service and forcing you into $300/yr. one way or another. A kick in the head to the small businesses that are strained by having to pay out subscription fees annually...and now, when we are all struggling because of COVID-19. Nice way to say thanks to those small businesses that put you on the map, Quickbooks.

 

In the meantime there still seems to be no fix for the PDF writer issues w/the desktop version thst causes you not to be able to email or print invoices, etc. Been using Quickbooks since it started in 2002 and always thought it was the best on the planet. More recently I've been very disappointed with bugs and issues and lack of responsiveness and for the first time I'm thinking about looking at other options. Very

I just downloaded the 2021 version of Pro Plus & having PDF printing issues too. Almost 4 hours on the phone today & not fixed, I've been using QB since 2002 as well.

Let's run the QuickBooks Print & Print Repair Tool from the QuickBooks Tool Hub, rmkboy.

 

The QuickBooks Tool Hub helps fix common errors.  For the best experience, we recommend using Tool Hub on Windows 10, 64-bit.

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. We recommend you download the most recent version (1.4.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it (like your Downloads folder or your Windows desktop). Note: If you've already installed Tool Hub before, you can find out which version you have. Select the Home tab.  The version will be displayed on the bottom right or you can select About to view the version.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  5. When the install finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.

 Then, from the Tool Hub, run the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool:

  1. In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems.
  2. Select QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool. It will take about a minute to run.
  3. Attempt to print, email, or save as a PDF from QuickBooks Desktop again.

If this doesn't fix the issue, move on to the next solution: Troubleshoot PDF and Print problems with QuickBooks Desktop.
