I am using Quickbooks on-line essentials, can I switch to Desktop to save money?

Hi there, cattlecompany. Allow me to explain the distinctions between QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.

QuickBooks Desktop provides more capabilities and is more customizable, whereas QuickBooks Online has more automations and is easier to understand and use. You also have to consider the number of users since the price will depend on it if you choose to switch to the desktop version.

You can convert data (with limitations for sure) from QBO US version to QBD US version. You can still purchase a one time license for QB Desktop 2021 if required.
