My archived forms do not open when I click view, is there another way tp access?

Greetings, harmonychurch.

Thanks for dropping by the Community space. It's my priority that you're able to successfully open the archived forms.

I have a few steps you can try to help get back on track. First, open your account using a private browser or Chrome’s New incognito window. It does not store data, which makes it a good place to start to see if there are any issues with the browser.

Here are the keyboard short-cuts for each browser:

  • Press Ctrl+Shift+P for Chrome.
  • Press Ctrl+Shift+N for Internet Explorer or Firefox.
  • Hold down Command+Shift+N for  Safari.

If you’re able to view the tax forms in a private window, clear the browser's cache to keep this from happening again. Too much cached data can slow down QuickBooks and cause unusual behaviors.

After performing these steps, make sure the pop-up blockers are disabled since it also blocks QBO from showing the archived forms. I'll walk you through the steps on how to turn off a pop-up blocker in Chrome.

Here's how:

  1. Click on the three dots in the browser’s toolbar.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Click on the drop-down for Advanced.
  4. In the Privacy and security section, select Content settings.
  5. Choose Pop-ups and redirects.
  6. Select  Allow, and enter QBO’s domain name.
  7. Once done, click on Add.

Allow pop-ups from a site:

  1. In your QBO company, go to the address bar and click on Pop-up blocked.
  2. Select Always allow pop-ups and redirects from.
  3. Click on Done.

I'm confident the resolution steps will help you view the tax forms and back to business.

Keep me posted if you have question about the Payroll feature. I'll be around to answer them. Have a great day ahead.
