QuickBooks Online will automatically sign out if the screen has been idle for more than an hour. I recommend saving your work as soon as you're done.

Changing the inactive section doesn't work, it must be something with the browser timing out. I'm trying out the desktop version.

Ctrl + Shift + N just brings up incognito mode in chrome, I don't see how that relays to what I'm having issues with.

Why cant QB just install an autosave software to save as you type. This is absolutely ridiculous the amount of time I have had to spend to go back and recreate estimates. THIS IS A BIG TIME FLAW ON INTUIT PART!!!!!
