I can share some information about reclassifying your transactions in QuickBooks Online, @ckabacus2017.
The option to reclassify the class and location of your transactions by batch is currently unavailable. It's a great idea to have such an option in QuickBooks, so I'll take note of it.
I also encourage you to leave feedback from within the product. Here are the steps:
You can check out this article for more information about providing feedback to make the program better: How do I submit feedback?.
In the meantime, you may need to open and edit the class and location manually one by one.
For more information on how to find transactions in your account history so you can review or edit them, check out this article: Find, review, and edit transactions in the account history in QuickBooks Online.
You can run a report from your Chart of Accounts to check your accounts and other aspects of your business. To set your general report preferences, here's how to run reports in QuickBooks Online.
Please know that you can always drop by here if you need any help with reclassifying your transactions. I will be happy to assist you further. Have a wonderful day!
But I also saw on the community previous discussion saying that if you have QBO accountant or QBO Advanced version, then you can make this batch modifcation.
I just cannot see in my account how to change to QBO Advanced. (of course, I am ready to pay a bit more in one or two months just to get this problem solved.
Anyone may have ideas?
Thanks,
CK
