Before we start, are you getting a specific error? Normally, it should only take several minutes to connect to your bank to QuickBooks. Let's perform some steps to fix the issue. Sometimes your browser is full of the frequently accessed page that may have been the cause of some unusual responses. You can log in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private window (incognito). I've provided the shortcut keys below:

Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
Control + Option + P (Safari)

Once signed in, check if you can already link your bank account. If so, go back to your default browser and clear the cache to speed up the loading process. There are times the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which causes viewing and performance issues. Clearing them refreshes the system and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. If it still doesn't work, I suggest switching to a different browser.

However, if you're still unable to link to your bank, ensure that you're using the correct URL. Sometimes a financial institution will have multiple bank names or have different types of accounts but choose to only release one website for connection. To learn more about how you can do it, I've added this article for your guide: Find Your Bank or Credit Card Account When You Connect To Online Banking.

In addition, once you've successfully connected your account, QuickBooks download the latest transactions automatically. To know more on how to categorise and match them, check out this article for more information: Categorise and Match Online Bank Transactions In QuickBooks Online.

Get back to us if you have any other concerns in linking your bank. I'll always be here to help.
