Getting Started: Open Banking

I would like to connect Revolut's personal joined account with QB, is this possible? 

How long does one typically expect to wait for a requested bank feed to be added to QuickBooks Online?I'm in the UK and use Capital on Tap. A few weeks ago I tried to link my Capital on Tap account to QBO and received a message about foreign currency and upgrading my subscription. I thought that was odd, as I didn't realise Capital on Tap was a foreign currency bank and I don't do foreign currency transactions anyway. Hi, id like to link my Tide savings account to Quickbooks online but open banking doesn't appear to allow this. I can connect a current accounts but that is it. Is it possible or what would be the best work around. 

I am trying to set up a new user on quickbooks online, i have received the invite but it is not allowing me to log in - it says access denied? How to resolve? 

When i send an invoice to my customer, it shows to them as Quickbooks, how to I change that to my business name so they know who is sending the invoice?

I'm creating rules for each of my suppliers and customers. However, when I look back at the transactions added and then also at the rules created it has not kept the Payee I have created. If I then re-add it then save, then add another to another, when I go back to the first it now displays the payee I added for the second one. I cannot tell if the Payee is being saved or not. I'm new to this platform and cannot understand how such a simple thing is so wrong. Maybe it is me. I have tried clearing the cache and making sure that wasn't the issue but it seems more inherent to the web app programming.Any help?Sean

We have followed the instruction to the letter to try and connect QB to our CAF Online bank account.  Error 103.My ID, my password and unique word are all correct. I have tried this at least 6 times without success. A colleague of mine who also has access to the same bank accounts has tried several time too with his ID, password, and unique word, again it comes up with the same message.  Is there are glitch peculiar to CAF Online Bank? Here is a screen dump of the error.      

Hello, This morning I have looked to update the transactions coming through from Lloyds bank as I do every day, but without warning 8 of the 9 companies I'm currently managing have come up with the following message: Your Lloyds Bank Business Banking (UK)... connection has expiredUK Open Banking regulation requires you to authorise your bank connections every 90 days. Reconnect now to keep your transactions coming into QuickBooks.Reconnect This makes little sense as:a) 3 of the companies had their bank connection re-authorised just a couple of weeks agob) there was no warning given yesterday / previously to advise that the connection was soon to expirec) it's strange that the transactions are still coming through for just the one company, when it has been treated exactly the same as all the other ones I manage If anyone can help / advise, that would be much appreciated! Kind regardsTrevor

Hi new here, I can’t get QB to connect to Monzo business.It’s says all done at the bank, but when it’s goes bank to QB it says something stopped is connecting?help!

It's impossible to finish connecting to TSB - the screen freezes on a page static.fdpwidgets.intuitcdn.net so it looks like the problem is with QuickBooks, not TSB. Connecting to another bank has worked fine. When will this be fixed?

I linked our bank account and this created an opening balance which cannot be editted from the chart of accounts. I want to split the opening balance between three funds we receive so the balance reduces from splits in expenditure throughout the year. I do te books for a charity and we need to ringfence certain funds in the overall bank balance for reporting. How do I do this?

I’m very new to this. Do I reconcile October 2019 and work towards May 2021. Any help would be appreciated 

Morning I have a Client who banks with the Co-Op and currently loads his Bank transactions through a CSV file (does not have the option for "Direct Feed".   He has contacted the Co-Op Bank and has been told that they have updated there system accordingly so that he should be able to have a direct feed again. Please could you let me know if this is correct and when we can expect the Direct Feed to be reactivated in Quick Books RegardsColleen

We have received a notification in our Quickbooks online account informing us that Intuit will stop account information services with some banks as of March 30 2020. Specifically, they refer to EU and UK banks connections, due to Payment Services regulations which date from 2017.I would have expected that Intuit does a bigger effort to continue providing these services having specific product versions for the region (UK and France for example). I think losing this feature is a major step back for the user experience.Quite disappointing.  

When I import my existing customers/suppliers QB, I have some with debit balances and some in credit. Is there a way I can carry this information across to QB or will I have to set those manually? And if so, how do I do that? Thanks.

Hello all, My Spanish company has been growing and every month the amount of transactions is increasing to a point that if we cannot establish an automatic connection between our bank and QB it will be complicated for us to continue using QB. We would really want to continue using QB as the alternatives are not as powerful, but it is becoming too much work to be month by month uploading the transactions manually.  I would be willing to wait if I am assured that automatic connections between banks and QB will be back. My bank is Sabadell.  Do you know if automatic connections between EU banks and QB is something that we can expect for the next months? Thank you in advance. Best,

Hi everyone. Its my first post here so maybe I write in wrong place but I give it a try.I recently joined to QBO and am starting learnig how choose category for expenses etc. Here question.What category I should choose or create for Hand Sanatizer for my business ?If I am here its worth to ask , What category use for hangers and havy duty store clothes rail?I have Clothing store. Thank You for all answers. 

As it says in the title I have connected (finally) my bank accounts to QB's.  However, because I run 3 companies and also have my personal finances through QB's self employed I started with just the one companies bank accounts.   I did all the linking through the company eg ABC ltd,  but QB's in its infinite wisdom has linked them to my Self Employed file instead.   Unless I missed a choice to have been made somewhere.  If you can let me know if that was the case.   Not sure where to go from here tbh.  Unlinking them to start with, but how do I make sure the correct accounts are linked with the correct company.

I will use the CSV. Import as suggested for now but for Making Tax Digital purposes adding Stripe as a Bank feed would be really appreciated especially for those of us that are small businesses that need to keep the cost down that has been placed on us by the HMRC requirement for Making Tax Digital. Hi I have just transferred to Online from Desktop and do feel that the pain will be worth it. However I am not receiving any income due to my business being closed so when I tried to upload a csv file for my bank statement I had difficulty. No column 7 on offer for credits. I eventually discovered that if I went back down my statement to a point where I had income and copied that csv file it would upload perfectly.  More time wasted but at least I am not short of time just now.

Good afternoon,I have received help on-line and it was suggested I provide feedback to ask if it could be added to the list for Stripe to be prioritised as a bank to be able to add to the Bank Feeds in the same way as Paypal so I don't have to pay for a separate APP to have a direct digital link. I will use the CSV. Import as suggested for now but for Making Tax Digital purposes adding Stripe as a Bank feed would be really appreciated especially for those of us that are small businesses that need to keep the cost down that has been placed on us by the HMRC requirement for Making Tax Digital.
