Upgrade to sole trader plus

I recently upgraded from QBSE to Sole Trader Plus. I can only find 1 year of transactions, how do I find previous years or has this been lost in the upgrade?

Hi there, Bailey. When upgrading from QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to the Sole Trader version, please note that the system only transfers one year of transactions automatically. Any data from prior years will not migrate and must be imported manually.

To handle your missing transactions, create a copy from your QBSE account, then save it in an Excel file. After that, import them into your Sole Trader account and categorize them if needed.

All my transactions were categorised, most were lost - years of data. I have now been given 11 days access to QBSE to allow me to extract everything into excel.

I will then have to rebuild my accounts.

Very disappointing.

Hi there, @baileyr1. I understand how worrying it is to see years of categorized data missing after an upgrade. This usually takes up to 72 hours for all your data to finish migrating. If it’s been more than 72 hours and your data still isn’t showing up, it’s best to reach out to QuickBooks Support. They’ll be able to look into your account details and advise on what can be done.
