Find and replace

While I appreciate your need for this, QuickBooks Online doesn't currently have a native find-and-replace feature. To locate your transactions, you can utilize the Advanced transactions search option. 

Here’s how:

1. Click the magnifying glass icon in the search bar.

2. Select Advanced transactions search at the bottom of the menu.

3. Use the filters to narrow down your results by type, date, amount, memo, or contact.

For quick updates, you can edit individual transactions inline directly from the account register. For bulk changes, you can still use the same Advanced Search feature to surface the records and edit them in batch where the UI allows.

Since QuickBooks Online Australia is a distinct product surface, I recommend sharing your feedback as a feature request with our engineers. This will help them understand your needs and consider your request for future updates.
