I am on QuickBooks Desktop Premier 2020, and I am attempting to download transactions through bank feeds. My Capital One - Credit Cards account has been working for months, and now I several issues out of nowhere. Error One: I attempt normal download and I get a popup service notice "You're no longer connected to Capital One - Credit Cards. Setup your connection again to continue using bank feeds." Error Two: I attempt to disable the bank feed for this account to reconnect it. I then get a popup error "Your attempt to de-activate account failed. Try again after some time. If this error persist, contact your administrator."Error Three: I attempt to create a new connection to Capital One. I get all of the way through setting up a new bank feed and I popup error "Sorry, we've run into a problem. QuickBooks is having trouble connecting to Capital One-Credit Cards.Your Options:-Try again later: This is a temporary issue and will be resolved in a day or two. Try to setup your Capit
I invoiced a customer and they paid via QB CC payments. The payment just posted to my bank minus the transaction fees. The customer invoice still show's as paid but not deposited. The deposit transaction shows up in For Review. When I click on the deposit to select find match it doesn't find the invoice... How do I match the deposit to the invoice when the transaction fee has changed the amount received? Can this be done automatically since it was all done via QB Payments? (Title has been edited by moderator for clarity)
I am going through Banking, and there are a number of Mobile Deposits that are not matching automatically to invoices. The amounts are the same, and I have manually changed the mobile deposit info to reflect the same info as on the invoice, but for some reason they arent matching automatically. When I try the manual "find match," it says "we could not find matching QBO transactions for the date and search criteria above." I've double and triple cheked the deposit dates, and the serach criteria dates, and they all are correct and matching. Yet, it wont match my mobile deposit to the invoice. Should I just exclude this deposit, or is there a way to match it from my Banking to my Invoice?
In the attached image, I have taken screen shots of a few accounts where the problem is occurring. The accounts in the top half are from Modern View of a Balance Sheet, the bottom half is the same accounts from Classic View. In Modern View, if the account balance is zero, I cannot click on anything to get the history and transactions of the account. In Classic View, I can click on the 0.00 and see the history and transactions of the account. Why was this functionality taken away in the Modern View? I want to be able to see account history while I am using the Balance Sheet, and not have to exit out to the Chart of Accounts and then re-run the report. This is a very frustrating change that seems to have no purpose outside of the "sleek new modern view" that has been trickle rolling out for over a year!
I had them in the order I preferred but then one day I opened QuickBooks and they were different and I cant find how to list them in the order that they were in previously.
This began only after I just had to "re-connect" Bank of America maybe 3 weeks ago to the "new" way they (or intuit) required me to. For instance: I enter a payment from a customer: 5.81 from Joe into Received payments. Into my correct bank account.2 days later Bank of America downloads the same Transaction for $5.81, but does not match the two, as AUTO matched (BLUE TAB) as it had in the past. Same goes for my imported payroll files from QB. I have the imported transaction in my QB, and B of A downloads the same transaction, but fails to match them. Same goes for Payments. I paid $121.96 to home depot and entered the "check": Allocated it to a customer, and job. 2 days later i download transactions through B of A express connect. It sees a 121.96 from b of a, but fails to auto match the 2. In my register, it shows a lightning bolt next to the transactioon. If i DELETE the lighning bolt, and save it, then go back into my downloaded tra

Hi, I have created a set of management reports for our EOY accounts. I've included the Balance Sheet Comparison report and the P&L Comparison Report however when I do the reports it doesn't include the comparisons. I know they did last year but I can't get it to happen this year. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers
Quickbooks wants me to verify my info with my bank to reconnect to it for downloading data. The phone number that it wants to send the verification code to is not my number. Bank says it is not them generating the contact info and all my contact info with Quickbooks and the bank is correct.
Hi there, hoping someone can help me with this. Cannot figure it out. Previously my bank was connected and discovered duplicate transactions. I am now manually doing all transactions which is working out much better. However, I have reconciled each month to a 0.00 balance and no transactions left when I am finished. Now I go in to reconcile the current month and there are several transactions back from previous months ( july aug sept ) which had been cleared. Why is this happening and mostly, how do I go about fixing this and being sure it doesn't keep happening. Also, I am new to the online and wasn't quite grasping the " green box " and matching. Thank you for any help. Im hoping I am not the only one who is coming across this issue. Thanks!
Since the latest update (which was supposed to FIX online banking issues), I seem to be caught in a never-ending doom loop with some of my company files. I get the message "there were problems with the account at your financial institution" after all of my connections had been working pretty flawlessly for a long time. So I go through this really fun process of disconnecting the accounts from online banking. Closing my company file, deleting my PLIST files, opening the company again, going through online banking setup, and have to do this whole process for each bank. It then works for a period of time, and then stops again. This is happening for Chase and American Express. It's only happening for some of my company files, and it's extremely annoying. I checked the file integrity of the company files that are problematic and they have no errors. Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening? It's really made me consider switching to QBO.
I deleted 7 reconciled transactions to correct some other double check issues and now I'm getting the message saying I can't reconcile this month until I fix the 7 transactions I deleted. I recreated the transactions and manually marked them as reconciled. After do that and I go to reconcile the account it has now created 7 new discrepancy items matching the Check transactions I entered with change type of "Reconciled in Register". These are not we transactions. I made sure to date them their original date and have confirmed the dates in the register match the dates cleared on the bank statement. The 7 original Change Type of "Deleted" are still there as well. When I recreated the 7 transactions I made sure I matched them exactly to the transactions deleted based on the Audit Trail. When I review the Reconciliation Report for each of these transactions and their time periods they still show up on the reports as "deleted" even though I have
I am paying for all sorts of premium everything and I'm still bombarded and interrupted with popups. Messes with my flow, messes with my brain and messes with my emotions because I am SO SICK OF THEM I GET ANGRY.
Opened QBO this morning, and the option to go the customers and vendors is gone, what happened? 4/16/24
Hi all. I hope someone can help me with this. It's getting to be a busy time of year with accounting, and now for some reason I'm getting all manner of popup ads in QuickBooks Online. Just a moment ago, there was a slide-up ad for MailChimp "Try for free" ... Yesterday, it was a series of ads to set up electronic payments, which I already have set up. One of the Electronic Payments ads yesterday was full-screen and interrupted my workflow of processing client invoices. When I tried to hit back to simply get back to what I was working on, I was navigated completely out to the QBO home screen. End result: I lost my train of thought. It's not fun having your work flow disrupted like that. I have trained myself to ignore the prominent "Cash Flow Analysis" box filled with fictitious sample data on my Business Overview Dashboard. Apparently there is only one way to get rid of that box: connect QBO to my business checking account. In my case, that is neither possible nor desirable. I ent
My dashboard changed to a new layout suddenly this morning. I can't find any information or about the update. It's really frustrating that QBO makes sudden changes this way, but I'm also finding that the new layout is difficult to understand. Has anyone had the same issue? Do you know of any resources that would help explain the new layout?
Since QuickBooks is a product we pay for, there should be a way to stop the continuous ads trying to upsell on Payroll etc. from posing up on every other page. Please help!
Hi~ I am trying to match transactions with payouts. My bank is linked with QB and all payments from Shopify are synced with QB online. oneSaas had to resync my account as we switched bank accounts of where the payments were being deposited. Since the new resync, I am now not able to match transactions with payouts. It says not transactions can be found. Can someone please help? QB chat gave me these suggestions To settle your accounting, add each payout to your accounts. We'll help you match each transaction to your bank deposits.
I have full security/access and my partner is the account holder.
Here are the services that I see promoted the most often: accounts receivable factoring, checking accounts, time tracking. I do not need these services and I would rather not have to continually click to minimize these ads.
