Why is there no Fixed Assets - does QB work differently. What should I do please.
App doesn’t update often enough for linked bank account so balance is always different
I’m a sole trader with two distinct income streams under my own name (first name + surname): • Self-employment (main income source)• Rental income as a landlord I’ve recently subscribed to QuickBooks Self-Employed and realised I can’t add landlord income as a second business alongside my main activity. From what I can see, the only option would be to open a second QBSE subscription to manage the rental income separately, even though both activities are run by me personally. With MTD for Income Tax coming in from April, I’d appreciate some clarification on the following: Is opening a separate QBSE subscription for rental income the recommended or best-practice approach? Will HMRC accept submissions from two separate QuickBooks Self-Employed companies under the same taxpayer? When submitting to HMRC, does QuickBooks combine figures from both accounts, or are they submitted separately and then consolidated by HMRC?How are tax and National Insurance contributions handled when o
Can i use a cheaper subscription?
I can add the clients details but as soon as I try to add service details - times and prices - the app quits on me

Hi everyone, totally new to QuickBooks and looking for some advice. I have run a Dog Walking, Daycare, and Boarding business from my home for the last 18 years. With MTD coming in, I decided I needed to get QBO to help digitise my bookkeeping and accounts. Our home utilities, mortgage, etc., are paid out of my wife’s and my joint personal account. 60% of our home is used for the day-to-day business. Previously, I would record the 60% utilities/mortgage interest, etc., in a simple accounting spreadsheet and transfer the 60% portion of the bill from my business account to our joint personal account. Now, using QBO, how do I record these transactions correctly? Do I create a new expense category in the Chart of Accounts, i.e., “Home Use for Boarding/Daycare”; list each payee (i.e., Octopus Energy, Northumbrian Water, Lloyds Bank, etc.) within this category and record the 60% portion? Do I snap copies of monthly invoices for the utilities? How do I snap the monthly mortgage interest as no

I can see where you can see disconnected accounts but not unaccepted transactions as you can on QB Online Accountant, thanks
Why has the banking info been removed from the Client list on the new Accountants AI platform. You used to be able to see all clients with how many transactions needed to be reviewed.I have reverted back to the original Online Accountant version. Thanks
Has anyone had a difficulty mapping any of the codes so that they transpose from QB to the HMRC Tax form into the correct boxes? I would be interested to hear as I have difficulty in filling box 29 on the HMRC form even though I have correctly mapped from the chart of accounts to go into this box. Would welcome some feedback on this subject.
