I have had about 8 replies with various suggestions all of which are just plain nonsense and about as many emails from various people some them are "self employed QB advisors"  all of which are do not reply , probably getting paid per response and not results,I have never experienced such poor support from an organisation  the overall impression that I am left with is that  the customer is being taken for granted

Hello, @DevlinR Maguire.

I can see in here that you've posted multiple times for the same concern. I have replicated your concern here in my end so I'll be able to provide you with an accurate resolution. Let me share some information to help you sort this out.

The invoice that your customer receives is a PDF file. Depending on the browser your customer is using, they can zoom in the invoice to enlarge it. Currently, the ability to customize the appearance of the invoice in QuickBooks Self-Employed is not yet available.

When your customer receives the invoice you've sent via email, they'll have to click the View Invoice button.

Once clicked, they'll be routed on a different page. To view the full invoice,  hover on the right portion of the invoice. Click on the View Invoice button.

From here, your customer will be able to see the complete details of the invoice. If the invoice is quite long, scroll down on the PDF file.

Let me know if you have other questions. I'm always here to help.

Are you actually reading my complaints to find a solution, the customer is not having problems opening and reading them, its that the contents are very faint, missing entries, and missing pages

I cant make it any clearer what the issue is but all that I get is a solution to an issue I do not have

I understand that you’re having some issue with how the invoice looks like, @DevlinR Maguire.

As mentioned by my colleague @IamjuViel, what your customers will receive when they receive the invoice are a PDF file format.

I’ll surely take note of your feedback on how the invoice looks like and use it to improve the flow in sending invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed. I also recommend you to visit our Blog to learn what new updates and features we have.

I’m always here if you still need help with those invoices by leaving a comment below. Take care and have a wonderful day!
